It's so simple, just adding cooked, chopped liver to rice, but oh so good. I generally don't like liver on it's own, but I do like it in other foods. I always add pureed liver to my gravies. I adore liver sausages and spreads on bread. However, today's menu includes a simple rice dish with the added iron and vitamins from the liver - just what an expectant mother needs. Oh, and I gently fry the liver in real butter, but not overcook it prior to adding it to the rice.
